I thought I might try something a bit different for Valentine’s Day this year. Since it also coincides with the release with the much anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie, I thought I would create an illo imaging what Christian and Ana might be doing during the film’s opening weekend… 😉

Knowing Christian Grey, he would never bother going to a normal movie theater like everyone else. Instead, with his power and connections, he’d arrange to have a copy sent to Escala! Although we know he had an entertainment room (no, I don’t mean the Red Room) where he kept a television, I’m sure he would probably also have a state-of-the-art home theater as well!

Hmmm…I wonder which scene from the film they happen to be viewing? 😉

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Maybe they are watching the first time in the playroom

Once again Victoria this is a beautiful illo. I think it’s to the point wear Ana and Christian are in the Reed Room of Pain and of course our Fifty is loving it and our Shy girl is embassed. But they they should be proud of themselves for the people who first doubted them and now love them and finally understand why I have loved them since the beginning. I will tell you tell my favorite scene is when Christian made love to Ana for the first time. You can tell that he loved her then!! Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see more and “Keep Calm there’s Two More Fifty Shades Movies”

Thank you very much, Aline! I’m glad you enjoyed the illo! 🙂 hahaha That would be a scene that would most probably cause both of the reactions seen in the illo ;D More definitely coming up soon! It will be a bit of a wait before the next two movies, but you can still enjoy the newly released first movie! 😉

Thank you for another brilliant Illo, Victoria! Love both of their expressions! Christian looks SO ungodly gorgeous! Loved the movie…can’t wait to see it again and again! Love the fact that Ana is biting her lip. Hahaha…..

Gosh, thank you for all of the very kind words, Nancy! I’m so glad you liked the illo and really pleased to hear you enjoyed how Christian came out, and noticed Ana’s lip biting as well! 😉 Happy to hear you enjoyed the movie too! Have fun at the next viewings… ;D

I LOVE THIS!!!! I literally (and I don’t mean figuratively) laughed out loud!!
I decided to tag in with your site to see what you put up for the movie’s debut….
And you did not disappoint…. This is awesome! Thank you for sharing your talent with us die-hard fans.

P.S. Any idea where I could write and post a review for the movie based on actually KNOWING the story? It drives me nuts that so many people have written their reviews and make dumb comments because they don’t know the story, so things don’t make sense to them. They make total sense to those of us in the know. I think it’s getting some negative comments due to lack of knowledge/understanding. Time to set them straight! 😉

Hahahaha! Glad it gave you a bit of a chuckle! ;D Thanks very much, KK! It’s always a pleasure, but am so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed it! 😀 Hmmm…I’m not quite sure where you could post to make the most impact. I imagine there must be quite a few sites covering the movie since there has been so much buzz. But I wouldn’t worry too much about the negative comments. I have a feeling most would rather experience the movie personally than just rely on reading a negative review.

      • I just wanted to say that I love your art work. It describes so much from the story. I think a good piece would be the hospital scene in Fifty Shades Freed when Ana wakes up or when Christian finds Ana after Jack hit Ana because its such a powerful scene.

Big Fan of your work!! <3

OMG! Your illo is so beautiful! Love Ana’s lip biting and of course Christian’s smirk. I just LOVE the movie from beginning to end. It’s definitely true to the book.

In your illo – I think they are watching Ana drunk dialing Christian. LOL

I love your drawings, I am very happy to know that still are drawing. It would be too bold of me to ask you to draw the scene of Christian Submissive

    • admin

Thank you Malú! Yes, I’m still at it 😉 Oh, I’ve actually had that scene in my mind for ages, but just haven’t quite worked out how I want to present it yet 😉 Hopefully soon.

    Hello Victoria ~

OMG..love this picture!! I just adore it the why Christian always is holding Ana’s hand. Too cute. I have to be honest, I was worried that you may stop posting illistrations of Christian and Ana once the movie came out. Glad you are still thrilling us with your beautiful pictures!!! I have fun checking out your website. Happpy “V” Day 🙂

Hi Christine! So happy you enjoyed the illo! Thanks so much! 😀 Oh, I’m glad you noticed and enjoyed the hand holding! I have to admit I think that is my favorite part of the illo. Shows a sweet connection between them. 🙂 As far as the illos, it all began when I needed ideas for something to try drawing and I happened to read the books at the same time. So I just kept getting good ideas that were a challenge to create. So, whether a movie happened or not, I’d still be drawing 😉 It’s just my own attempts at interpreting what I’ve read. I really appreciate that you keep visiting here and checking out the illos! It means a lot 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Thanks so much again!

  10. I have become an addicted to fifty shades.
I can see Ana doing this.

My sweet husband took me to the movie for my valentine’s gift. I wish it could have been a longer movie and they add more of the book to it. I still liked it.

    Haha
I love this, Christian and ana together watching fifty. The red chairs with the cup holders are amazing. I love Christian’s eyes looking devilish at ana, plus his hair is so damn sexy lol! And on last illo i’m doin well thank you for asking 🙂
    Can’t wait for next illo!

I love this piece! please recreate the hospital scene with Ana and Christian after Ana just woke up or when Christian finds Ana on the ground. That scene is so powerful and I know you can make it look amazing! This truly is a great story and your drawings bring it to life <3

    • admin

Hello again, Kassie! 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the illo! Thanks for your suggestions. I saw your previous comments mentioning these two particular moments you’d like to see in future illos. I replied in an earlier comment you posted, but again, the crazy way my brain works, anything is possible! 😉 If a layout for a particular moment becomes clear in my mind, then I proceed with creating the illo. I usually don’t pick a scene and then try to work out how to construct the piece. It feels more organic that way, if that makes sense 😉
